In fact, it is luxurious in its own appeal which resonates with those who appreciate the best in life. What could be better than to enjoy a slow and sumptuous meal away from the busy city and within some very lively surroundings?

When it comes to price, you would not expect to pay anything less for the best of foods you can get. Make no mistake about this. You are dining in one of the most luxurious places around Singapore, hence you might not want to expect the price to be anything less. - For Appetizers: Try out their Lemongrass & Ginger Tiger Prawn Salad. This will cost you SGD19.00 and it is a great way to start.
- Main Course: at SGD56.00, you should go for the Wild Alaskan Black Cod. Make sure you have this with their ginger flower sambal which would be epic!. Otherwise, try out their Chilli Crab Spaghettini which is SGD26.00. If you have been here before, you will notice that this item is one of their classics and signature dishes
- Alternatives: If you would like to have something heavier instead of fish, the Spice Islands Marinated Lamb Loin at SGD44.00 would surely be a steal. This comes served with curried rice and could be a tad too spicy for those not accustomed to the burning sensation
- Desserts: the Halia Infusion at SGD10.00 is nice to have where they serve you with wild mountain honey with ginger cooked to perfection. If you are in for an adventure, try out their SGD12.00 priced Die Die Must Have Chocolate. Simply marvelous!

Ultimately, The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens has all the ingredients (pun intended!) that makes the meal something almost unforgettable. It is one of those places that give you that appeal. You come here once, and you want to come again. But it seems like a daunting task to come here as it feels so much like a hi-so (high society) place. Having said that, it makes the visit all the more remarkable and unforgettable. The settings and ambiance is something to-die-for and if that is not enough, the presentation will pull you into what could be an out-of-this-world luxurious food experience.
