Is it safe to fly when I'm 10-week pregnant?
Q My husband wants to take me on a pre-baby holiday. I’m only 10 weeks along, is it safe to fly?
Lindy Rosario, Namly Place
A Travel does not affect a pregnancy adversely, but if an emergency arises, being far away from a doctor may be hazardous. Therefore, avoid long journeys and travelling to distant places, especially if you have a history of miscarriage or premature labour, vaginal bleeding in the present pregnancy, have a multiple pregnancy (the risk of pre-term delivery is increased) or a serious medical problem that requires special medication and medical care.
