Infant Care and Child Care Subsidies
What you should know as you plan for child care arrangements for your little one
Since 17 August 2008, the Singapore government has increased infant and childcare subsidies to help give better support for parents with young children, as well as to encourage those without children to have them.
Parents who have infants between the age of 2 and 18 months are eligible for the infant care subsidy should they wish to send their infants to an infant care centre.
The subsidy comes up to a maximum of $600 per child. To qualify for the full benefit, the working mother must work for at least 56 hours in a week.
