Natural High
Learn some history at the Labrador Nature Reserve

“This is not as rugged as other nature spots. You can even use prams, if you start from carpark B. The path from there is wide and pram-friendly. The beach is beautiful. There is a good playground there with a wooden maze which my kids enjoy a lot.”
Janice Lee, 28, mother of Jadon, 4, and Jasmine, 6.

Labrador Nature Reserve, one of Singapore’s prettiest parks, is characterised by a staircase that is built on the edge of the secondary forest. It offers a view of the cliff and the sea as you walk. The kids may also hear bird calls and spot squirrels along the way.

The Labrador Nature Reserve boasts the only rocky sea cliff (30m high) on mainland Singapore, more than 50 bird species and rare trees, a 300m-long beach rich in flora and fauna and a park with BBQ pits for parents who may appreciate a little respite. You can also discover the secret wartime tunnels that were used by the British Army during World War 2.

You can take a closer look at the ancient war relics on the guided tour available. Call to register.
